Co-Founder
Ms. Michelle Mok is the Founder and Chief Medical Advisor of AHC Global.
Dr. Carina Xu is a researcher and strategist specializing in global healthcare systems and cross-border medical coordination.
Ms. Michelle Mok brings over 18 years of clinical experience in the healthcare field. Her work focuses on helping individuals navigate complex international medical systems and connecting them with appropriate medical institutions across borders.
Based in Singapore, Ms. Mok has conducted extensive research and visited leading hospitals and medical institutions across Germany, Japan, the United States, China, and multiple countries throughout Asia. Through this work, she has developed a deep understanding of how different healthcare systems operate, including their strengths, structures, and clinical pathways.
Her experience revealed a recurring challenge faced by many international patients: difficulty accessing reliable medical information and establishing efficient connections with the right doctors and institutions. These information gaps often delay critical medical decisions and complicate the process of seeking treatment abroad.
Driven by this insight, Ms. Mok focuses on bridging these gaps by helping patients access accurate information and connecting them with appropriate medical resources worldwide.
Dr. Carina Xu holds a Ph.D. in Management Science and Engineering and has focused much of her work on understanding structural differences between healthcare systems around the world.
Her research has examined key elements of international healthcare delivery, including treatment pathways, hospital tier systems, cost structures, insurance reimbursement models, and cross-border patient processes.
Through this work, Dr. Xu has developed expertise in comparing healthcare infrastructures across Asia, Europe, and other global regions.
Her work highlights the growing strength of Asia’s advanced tertiary hospital systems, which now possess strong specialization and extensive clinical experience across fields such as oncology, advanced surgery, precision diagnostics, and regenerative medicine.
However, many international patients are not fully aware of these developments or lack reliable ways to compare treatment options across countries.
Dr. Xu focuses on improving transparency in international healthcare by helping patients better understand treatment options, institutional strengths, and system differences before pursuing cross-border care.
Areas of professional focus include:

- Health management – Supporting clients through structured health management strategies designed to improve long-term health and well-being.
- Nutritional guidance – Providing evidence-based recommendations on nutritional strategies that complement broader health management plans.
Areas of professional focus include:
- Comparative healthcare system analysis.
